Final Reflection

In this course I have learned plenty of things. Not only grammar and vocabulary, also I have learned to give speeches with confidence, clarity and coherence.

I really practiced my ability to speak in English  because I always  procured to talk with my classmates in English.What I found most enjoyable in this course was when I made the impromptu speech, because  I felt  that assignment was the one in which I communicate my  ideas with more clarity and I think that I did a good job. Other important thing that this course gave to me was some friendships. I will miss the course.

Third month reflection

This semester I have been improving in grammar and in giving public speeches. Now I know more grammatical structures, new words, the correct use of make and do, etc. The conditionals didn´t have given me problems. I have understood them well. About speaking, I am more confident when I give a speech and I speak with more fluent. I liked the impromptu speech activity a lot. I have developed a nimble mind understanding English. I´m very exultant with my grade of the second month and I hope to finish the semester with also  a good grade. 

Reflection of Informative speech - Juanes

Peace Is Something Possible
"We have all maneged to overcome fear and we have achieved to be here today". I like this phrase a lot. It was what Juanes said in the concert for peace in Cuba.
The most astounding aspect I discovered through the research of life and charitable actions of Juanes is that he has a very strong commitment in making the teenagers and children in constructors of peace, and he does it through his foundation.
I admire his commitment and the responsibility he takes to achieve peace.
I also seek for peace in my community by always respecting others´ideas and if it´s necessary intervening in people disagrements to establish a peceful resolution.
It´s important to always have in mind that peace is something possible if everyone makes and effort to achieve it.

Spider Webs: The Best Superpower

Would you like to climb buildings with spider webs and arrive to the school in less time?
Spiderman is my favorite superhero because I like his superpower a lot and the actions he does with it. In addition, I like the suit he uses. It´s a good combination of colors.
I admire him because he uses his superpower with a sense of responsibility and justice.
He risks his life to save others and to stop his enemies from doing crimes.
Also because he cares about his family and is always caring for his aunt.
If I could be a superhero, I would use my superpowers as Spiderman does: with responsibility and to achieve justice, but not forgetting the most important thing: family.
To sum up, Spiderman is a very complete superhero, he knows how to use his superpower for the good of the majority and with responsibility.            
As uncle Ben once said: "With great power comes great responsibility".

My name is Adrián Marcelo Ramírez Hernández. I'm eigtheen years old. My major is Food Industry Engineering. I was born on August 29, 1997 in Monterrey. I have two brothers. The oldest is Raúl and the youngest is Eduardo. My dad works in an optical distributor and my mom is a housewife. I like to play footbal, play the piano, play board games, watch football and pass time with the family. I'm fan of Rayados. I go to the stadium every fifteen days. My favorite food is roast beef.
I used to have a dog. It´s a beagle and its name is Bauer. Now Bauer is with another family but I have hope to see him again.
